Kaleidoscope (Autumn 2020) is a travel and lifestyle magazine designed to inspire readers to step beyond their comfort zones and explore the communities around them—or embark on a personal journey of self-discovery. The publication aims to deepen awareness of everyday surroundings and cultivate a positive outlook on life. This issue highlights a rich variety of art exhibitions, cozy cafes, and charming local spots across Japan, England, and Hong Kong.
The content, including original writing and photography, was contributed by myself, friends, peers, and carefully sourced online materials. Visually, the magazine is structured using a clean two-column grid system. Typography varies thoughtfully by topic, complemented by a custom-designed typeface crafted specifically for the title “Kaleidoscope,” adding a unique and cohesive identity to the publication.
